University Testing Services
University Testing Services administers standardized testing at BU — paper and pencil examinations, as well as computer-based exams. BU's testing services also proctor standardized exams for distance education students and those attending other colleges and universities.
| CASTLE | Professional certification & licensure exams. (Computer-based).

| CLEP | Helps students earn credit for what they already know, regardless of how that knowledge was learned. (Computer-based OR paper/pencil).

| GRE | Subject Exams: used for admission to many graduate programs. (Paper-based only)

| MAT | Assesses your ability to recognize relationships between ideas, your fluency in the English language, and your general knowledge of literature, philosophy, history, science, mathematics, and fine arts. Used for graduate admissions. (Computer-based OR paper/pencil)

| PRAXIS | Provides tests and other services for states to use as part of the teacher licensing and certification process. (Paper/pencil only)

| PCAT | Pharmacy College Admissions Test. The official preferred admissions test for entrance to Pharmacy School, as endorsed by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).

| LSAT | Law School Admissions Test. A half-day, multiple choice standardized test required by all American Bar Association-approved law schools. This exam is designed to measure skills considered essential for success in law school: reading comprehension, analytical reasoning and logical reasoning skills.

| Test Proctoring | Provides test proctoring and distance education exam administration. Fees apply: $35/exam up to 3 hrs; $50/exam beyond 3 hrs. (Computer-based or paper/pencil)
