Bloomsburg Baseball Wrapping Up Fall Season

BLOOMSBURG- The Bloomsburg University baseball team is in the midst of their non-traditional fall baseball season. NCAA division II programs are allowed 24 days of team activity within a 45-day window. For the Huskies this window entails a challenging schedule consisting of strength and conditioning in the morning, baseball practice in the afternoon, and study hall at night.

"The goal of the coaching staff is maximize this period in order to develop our players to the best of our ability," says Bloomsburg Head Coach Mike Collins. "We are going to build on the success we had at the end of last spring by going out and hustling each day."

The Huskies will conclude their fall season on October 22 with a 100-inning marathon fund-raising game that will benefit the program.
