Assistant Coach Phil Hopewell

Phil Hopewell begins his first season as assistant coach of the Huskies. His primary responsibilities will be working with the outfielders and hitters. He will also assist in recruiting and coach first base. Hopewell graduated from Susquehanna University in 1969 and was a four-year starter as a pitcher and outfielder. He managed the Watsontown American Legion teams for five years. He also coached the first Central PA Tornadoes fall legion team and was an assistant coach on their summer team for two years.

Pitching Coach Brian Albertson

Brian Albertson enters his first season as the pitching coach for the Huskies. Albertson has spent the last 12 years coaching as an assistant at Danville HS and Danville American Legion teams. Albertson attended Bloomsburg University after graduating from Danville in 1987. He has worked and spoke at numerous baseball camps in the area including the Huskies baseball camp and Midwest Baseball Academy.
