Assistant Coach Bill Carter

Bill Carter enters his first season as an assistant coach for the Huskies.

Prior to joining the staff at Bloomsburg, Carter spent 18 years as Head Baseball Coach at Pocono Mountain East High School.

While there, his teams won three Centennial League championships and advanced to two District XI Finals. He was named the Pocono Record newspaper "Coach of the Year" in 2006. Carter also spent four years as an assistant coach for the Wilkes Barre/Scranton Red Sox in the A.C.B.L. College Summer Baseball League from 1996-1999.

In 2002 & 2003, Carter served as Head coach of the Lehigh Valley Keystone State Baseball Team. He has also served as director of the Cardinal Baseball Camps at Pocono Mountain East High School Campus from 1995 - 1999. Carter has worked various baseball camps/clinics at ESU, Western Wayne High School, Stroudsburg High School and Delaware Valley High School. In addition, Carter worked the Diamond Kings Showcase at Lackawanna County Stadium.

Carter is currently a 7th grade Science teacher in the Pocono Mountain School District. He lives in Bartonsville with his wife Debbie. Their son, Chris, is a sophomore pitcher for the Huskies.
