Stefanie Williams begins her first season an assistant coach at Bloomsburg. The 2003 University of Georgia (UGA) graduate was a 24-time All-American, third best all-time in Bulldog history. She also accumulated four honorable mention All-America honors for a total of 28 awards. She helped Georgia to three consecutive NCAA and Southeastern Conference (SEC) championships and one second place finish at both championships in her career. She was the SEC champion in the 200 free in 2001 and 2002 and was runner up in the 100- and 200-free at the 2002 NCAA championships. Williams is also the UGA record holder at the 200 free (1:44.8) and part of a team that set the American Record, NCAA, and US Open records in the 4x50 and 4x100 free relays in 2002.Williams was also the first female in UGA history to receive the Sportsmanship of the Year Award.

Williams represented the United States and won silver medals at the Pan American games in 1999, the World Championships in 2001 and the 2003 World University games. She was also an Olympic trials qualifier in both 2000 and 2004 finishing ninth at 100-meters in 2004.

She earned a degree in Sports Communications at Georgia and resides in Bloomsburg. Her father, Frank, is a long-time member of the Bloomsburg University football coaching staff.
