Assistant Coach Sheila Zilinski
Sheila Zilinski joins the Bloomsburg coaching staff this year after a long career as a two-sport athlete for the Huskies.
In 2002, Zilinski was named first-team All-American, first team All-PSAC, first team All-ECAC, and was the womensfieldhockey.com National Player of the Year. She was also the 2002 PSAC Field Hockey Athlete of the Year, as well as the Honda Division II Collegiate Woman Field Hockey Player of the Year, fieldhockey.com Player of the Year and an ECAC All-Star. Zilinski is a two-time national champion for the Huskies, playing on the 2002 and 2003 D-II Championship Field Hockey teams. A standout on the Huskie lacrosse team as well, she was named Bloomsburg's Outstanding Senior Female Athlete for 2004 finishing the lacrosse season with a career-high 56 goals and 14 assists for 70 points. She was named an All-American and All-Region by the IWLCA and US Lacrosse in 2003, 2004, and 2005. Zilinski was also a 4-year All-PSAC selection. |
