Bloomsburg Men's Soccer Wins Second Straight

CALIFORNIA — Bloomsburg University's Chris Tomarelli (Oreland/Springfield) scored his first collegiate goal to lift the Huskies to a 2-1 win over California (PA) on Wednesday.
Josh Prall (Clarks Summitt/Abington Heights) got the Huskies on the board with a goal at the 21 minute mark off an assist from Kyle Benner (Sellersville/Pennridge).
After California tied the score just two minutes later, Tomarelli scored at the 29 minute mark to put the Huskies in front for good.
From there, Bloomsburg goalie Travis Young (Altoona/Altoona) made the score hold up as he finished with four saves in the game.
The Huskies improved to 2-2 on the year, 2-1 in the PSAC, while California falls to 1-4, 0-3 in the PSAC. Bloomsburg is back in action on Saturday at East Stroudsburg.
