Bloomsburg Men's Soccer falls to East Stroudsburg in OT
BLOOMSBURG —East Stroudsburg's Wes Gayle scored with 49.1 seconds left in overtime to lift the Warriors over Bloomsburg University 1-0 in men's soccer action Tuesday.
The teams battled through 90 minutes of scoreless play with the Huskies getting off 16 shots compared to 13 for Warriors.
In overtime with less than a minute to play, East Stroudsburg's Joe Alcaro crossed the ball in front of the net where Gayle finished it and gave East Stroudsburg the win.
Bloomsburg goalie Travis Young had 13 saves for the day.
Bloomsburg, 5-9, 4-7 in the PSAC, will visit Kutztown on Saturday at noon.
