BLOOMSBURG - Luke Haile (Bloomsburg/Central Columbia), a senior member of the Bloomsburg University men's soccer team, recently won the Mid-Atlantic Regional Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine's Undergraduate Student Investigator Award.

Haile's research "Influence of testing sequence on a child's ability to achieve maximal anaerobic and aerobic power," studied how the order of exercise tests affects children's performances.

Haile's award reflects the quality of his presentation at the MARC-ACSM conference and the significance of his research. The award is given to one undergraduate student each year.

A four-year member of the men's soccer team, Haile ended his career at Bloomsburg with seven goals and four assists for 18 total points. He graduates in December and begins graduate studies at BU in January.
