Bloomsburg Men's Soccer Falls to Millersville
BLOOMSBURG – The Bloomsburg men's soccer team fell to Millersville 2-1 in a PSAC match up on Saturday afternoon.
Bloomsburg got on the board quickly when Steve Feimster (Stroudsburg/ Pocono Mt. East) set up midfielder Adam Grady (Malvern /Archbishop Carroll) for a goal at the 7:09 mark. But Millersville answered back before the end of the first half when Millersville's Ryan Kiley scored off a deflection to tie the score at one. Millersville then pulled ahead in the second half when junior Matt Pike scored at the 70th minute on an assist from Ben Melnick.
Millersville goalie Damian Ambrosia had stopped four shots to preserve the win for the Marauders. Bloomsburg goalie Travis Young (Altoona/ Altoona Area) has seven saves.
With the loss, the Huskies fall to 5-6 and 4-5 in the PSAC. Bloomsburg travels to Slippery Rock on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
