Bloomsburg Falls to IUP in Women's Soccer
BLOOMSBURG — A goal 4:02 into the game by IUP's Brittany Pikur proved to be difference as Bloomsburg University fell to Indiana (PA) 1-0 in women's soccer action Wednesday afternoon.
Pikur's goal came off an assist from Erin Falce on a shot from the 18-yard line and was the only scoring in the game played in rain for much of the time.
Bloomsburg goalie Brittany Moses (East Greenville/Upper Perkiomen) stopped eight shots on the day, while IUP's Becky Dillard stopped all six shots she faced.
Bloomsburg, 1-1-1, will visit East Stroudsburg on Sept. 10th at 2 p.m.
