Bloomsburg Women's Soccer Loses to Mansfield

BLOOMSBURG — Mansfield's Amy Dominick scored a goal and an assist to lead the Mountaineers to a 3-1 victory over Bloomsburg on Wednesday afternoon.

Bloomsburg controlled the ball for the majority of the first half but Mansfield scored two goals within a minute of each other to jump out to a 2-0 lead. Dominick set up Kim Pachuta for the first goal at the 32:30 mark to give Mansfield a 1-0 lead. Just a minute later Mansfield's Lyndi Keiser scored an unassisted goal to make it 2-0. The Huskies out shot Mansfield 14-3 in the first half but found themselves trailing at halftime.

In the second half, the Mountaineers added another goal less then a minute into the half when Amy Dominick added an unassisted goal. The Huskies cut the lead to 3-1 when Christine Mongelli (South River, NJ/ South River) set up Christina Mazurek (Hatfield/ North Penn) for a goal at the 49:43 mark.

The Huskies fall to 5-7-4, 2-5-3 in the PSAC East. Mansfield improves to 6-6-3, 2-6-2 in the PSAC East. The Huskies will travel to Adelphi this Saturday at 2 p.m.
