BLOOMSBURG—Bloomsburg University senior offensive lineman Brian Bingaman (Northumberland/Shikellamy) capped a brilliant season by being named an honorable mention All-American by the web site d2football.com. Bingaman was also named an honorable mention All-ECAC for his play this past season.

Bingaman, a tri-captain for the Huskies in 2002, helped the team rush for 162.7 yards a game this season. He was also part of an offensive line that allowed just 17 sacks during the year, the second lowest figure in the PSAC. Bingman was a first team All-PSAC East each of the past two seasons as well as an All-ECAC selection in 2001.

Bingaman also recently played in the East Coast Bowl, an all-star game for Division II and III players in Petersburg, VA.

The Huskies finished the 2002 season with a record of 8-2 and won a share of the PSAC Eastern Division title.
