Esgro, a 6-2, 230 pound junior, led a Bloomsburg defense that limited the nation's top rusher to just 50 yards on the ground. He recorded four tackles, three from behind the line of scrimmage, including two sacks for minus 12 yards and had a pass-break up against the Mountaineers. His first sack forced Mansfield to punt, leading to great field position and the game's first score. Overall, the Huskies allowed just 21 net yards rushing for the game.

For the season Esgro has 20 tackles, 10 of them solo. He also has 6.5 tackles for loss with four of them being sacks. He has also forced one fumble this season.

Bloomsburg, 7-3, will end its 2003 season at home with Indiana (PA), 9-1, this Saturday at 1 p.m. at Redman Stadium.
