BLOOMSBURG— Bloomsburg University football player Shaun Gaul (Catawissa/Southern Columbia) was named Honorable Mention Player of the Week by D2Football.com for his play against New Haven last week.

In his first start for the Huskies, Gaul rushed for 120 yards on 17 carries, and also scored a touchdown. Gaul's longest run of the day was for 20-yards in the third quarter on a drive that would eventually end in a touchdown for Bloomsburg. Gaul's touchdown also came in the third quarter. Gaul scored on a two-yard run with 1:25 remaining in the period, putting the Huskies up 30-10 going into the fourth period.

The Huskies will have the weekend off and will play Shippensburg at home, Sept. 13 at 1:00 p.m.
