Mullin Receives Post-season Honors

Post-season honors continue to come in for Bloomsburg University football player Chris Mullin (Plymouth Meeting/Wissahikon) who earned two more honors for his play during the 2003 season.

Mullin, who was named first-team All-PSAC, was named first team All-ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) and first team All-Northeast by Daktronics. He also earned second team All-Northeast Region honors from Don Hansen's Football Gazette.

The Bloomsburg offensive line helped the Huskies rush for 2,236 yards this season, an average of 203.3 yards per game, fourth best in the PSAC. They also blocked for an offense that averaged 391.9 yards per game, also fourth best in the PSAC. The Huskies also allowed just 17 sacks this season against their quarterbacks, fifth fewest in the PSAC.

During his career, Mullin helped the Huskies to 36-11 record. For his play, he received All-PSAC honors each season, being a two-time selection for both first and second teams. In 2001, he was also named first team All-ECAC South. Mullin served as a tri-captain in the 2003 season, helping the team to a 7-4 record, including PSAC wins over East Stroudsburg, Mansfield and Kutztown.

Mullin is a business administration major at Bloomsburg.
