Evans, a 6-4, 340 pounder, was the only offensive lineman from a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) school named to the pre-season team.

A pro prospect, Evans was a first team All-PSAC East selection in 2003. His performance at offensive tackle played a major role in the success of the Bloomsburg offense last season. He was part of an offensive line that allowed just 17 sacks during the season and allowed the offense to average over 200 yards rushing and nearly 200 yards passing per game.

Bloomsburg will open its 2004 season on Friday, Aug. 27th at Slippery Rock starting at 7 p.m.
