Brittingham, who is a Northeast Regional finalist for the Harlon Hill Award (Division II's Player of the Year) also came through in the clutch for the Huskies scoring the game winning touchdowns in showdowns with East Stroudsburg (in overtime) and West Chester. He was the PSAC Eastern Division Rookie of the Year last season and was named the PSAC Eastern Division Player of the Week five times this year.

Evans and Shelton were part of a dominant group of offensive linemen for the Huskies that helped pave the way for the Huskies to average 467.4 yards of offense per game, second best in the PSAC and 10th best in all of Division II. Evans, an NFL prospect and a Division II All-American in 2004, was often downfield on many of Brittingham's runs and had several devastating pancake blocks during the year. He earned All-PSAC first team honors for the second straight year. Shelton, a red-shirt junior, earns first team honors for the first time after being a second team selection a year ago.

Kuklick, a red-shirt junior, caught 11 passes for 184 yards and one score during the year. Eight of his 11 receptions during the year were for first downs, while for his career, seventy percent of his catches were good enough for first downs.

Biernat, Keating, and Trettin lead a defense that ranked second in the PSAC allowing just over 100 rushing yards per game and fourth in the PSAC in total defense giving up only 307.1 yards per game. The Huskies also rank first in the country in turnover margin (+22, +2.0/game) and 11th in the country in scoring defense allowing just over 14 points per game.

Biernat, a red-shirt sophomore, led the team in tackles with 70 including 32 solo and a team-leading 6.5 tackles for a loss of 29 yards. He also had two sacks for a loss of 15 yards, three passes broken up, two forced fumbles and also recovered a fumble on a key West Chester drive inside the Huskies 30 to seal the win and clinch a share of the PSAC East Championship.

Keating, a junior, was one of the team's leading tacklers racking up 41 stops including 20 solo and six for a loss of 21 yards. He also had two sacks on the year and broke up four passes.

Trettin, a junior, was one of the PSAC's leading pass rushers, ranking fourth in the conference in passes defended (6) and fifth in interceptions with four on the year. Trettin was also named the PSAC Eastern Division Player of the Week for his play against West Chester in which he finished with 11 tackles, seven solos, forced a fumble and intercepted a pass that led to a late first half touchdown for Bloomsburg.

Lydic, a senior and three-year starter for the Huskies, finished the season strong, completing 40 of 53 passes for 567 yards and seven touchdowns and was named the PSAC East Player of the Week for the last week of the regular season. On the year, he's thrown for 1,871 yards, 16 touchdowns and ranks fourth in the PSAC in pass efficiency completing 62% of his passes.

Scruggs and Moser were also anchors on the Huskies' offensive line that opened the door for the team's rushing attack that was ranked 10th in Division II. Scruggs, a red-shirt junior, is a two year starter at center for Bloomsburg. Moser, a senior, is a returning All-PSAC selection and was named a pre-season All-American by Don Hansen's Football Gazette.

Patrick, a red-shirt senior, had 32 receptions for 445 yards and six touchdowns including a catch in triple coverage with time expiring against West Chester that gave the Huskies the lead in the game. Bowman, a red-shirt senior and returning starter, was one of the leading blockers for the Huskies this season.

Esgro, and White, both red-shirt seniors, were key members of the defensive line for the Huskies this season. Esgro makes his third appearance on the All-PSAC list, with 32 tackles on the year including 2.5 sacks for a loss of 17 yards. He also forced a fumble inside the Huskies 30 to seal a victory over West Chester. White ended the regular season with 40 tackles (21 solo), 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and recovered two fumbles. He was named to the All-PSAC 2nd team in 2004.

Davis, a red-shirt sophomore, had 57 tackles on the year, over half of which were solo and had four tackles

for a loss of 28 yards including two sacks. He also had five interceptions that he returned for 81 yards, five passes broken up, one fumble recovery and two forced fumbles. His five interceptions ranked him third in the PSAC.

Cherry, a freshman, averaged 35.9 yards per punt on the season and was ranked eighth in the PSAC. He had 10 punts inside the 20 during the year and also 10 more that were not returned due to a fair catch. His long punt for the year was a 53-yarder against East Stroudsburg.

Hale has guided his team to a 11-0 overall record, which includes a 6-0 slate in winning the PSAC East title. The unbeaten regular-season mark is the first at the school since 1985. Bloomsburg is the No. 2 seed in the Northeast Region which gives it a bye for this weekend's opening round of the NCAA Division II playoffs.

Hale is in his 13th year at Bloomsburg and 18th overall with five seasons at West Chester. Combining the two schools he has won at least a share of the East title 11 times and has been named East Coach of the Year nine times. His 146-51-1 overall record (.740) ranks in the top 10 among active Division II coaches.

The Huskies continue their season on Saturday, November 19 at 12:00 noon in the second round of the NCAA Playoffs. Bloomsburg hosts a home game against the winner of East Stroudsburg University and Southern Connecticut State University.
