Bloomsburg Ranked 24th in National Poll
BLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University Huskies, fresh off a 40-24 come-from-behind win in its season opener, moved into 24th spot in the latest d2football.com national poll.
The Huskies, unranked in the preseason, were one four Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) teams to earn a spot in the poll.
Bloomsburg rallied for its win over PSAC West-rival Slippery Rock on the strength of 250 yards rushing and four touchdowns from Jamar Brittingham.
The Huskies travel to West Virginia this week to take on Fairmont State, which lost to Cal (PA), 42-6, in its season opener. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
