Sophomore running back Jamar Brittingham (Levittown/Neshaminy) and senior offensive lineman Jahri Evans (Philadelphia/Frankfort) were selected to the first team offense and were the leading vote-getter's at their positions. Junior tight end Luke Kuklick (North Wales/North Penn) and senior offensive lineman John Moser (Newmanstown/ELCO) were selected to the second-team offense, while senior defensive lineman Todd White (Union, NJ/Union) and sophomore linebacker Rob Biernat (Bristol/Conwell Egan) were selected to the second-team defensive unit.

Brittingham, the PSAC Eastern Division Player of the Year, rushed for 2,260 yards and 32 touchdowns, added two receiving touchdowns and scored 204 points, all of which broke school and conference records. Brittingham also etched him name on several NCAA Division II all-time lists in 2005, as he is third in scoring for a season and fourth in rushing yards per season. He also ranks first in Division II history with 13.6 points per game in his career. Brittingham had five games this year in which he went over the 200 yard mark, including a 200 yard game against East Stroudsburg on October 1st and a 211 yard performance against West Chester on October 29th. He also scored the game-winning touchdown in both games. Brittingham is among three finalists left in the running for the 2005 Harlon Hill Award given to the best college football player in Division II. He is the only sophomore left in the running for the award.

Evans anchored a dominant offensive line that helped pave the way for Brittingham's record breaking season and lead the way for an offensive that averaged 473.4 yards per game. Evans earned first team All-PSAC Honors for the second straight season in 2005 and is up for the 2005 Gene Upshaw award, which is presented annually to the best lineman in Division II. A year ago, Evans was named Associated Press Little All-American, was a first team American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) All-American selection and was named to the All-Northeast Region first team.

Kuklick ended the season with 13 receptions for 205 yards and scored two touchdowns. Eight of the 13 passes Kuklick caught on the year went for first downs, while for his career; seventy percent of his catches were good enough for first downs. For his efforts, Kuklick was an All-PSAC First Team selection.
Moser was also apart of an offensive line that opened the door for the Huskies rushing attack that averaged 284.3 yards per game. Moser was named to the All-PSAC Team the last two years and was named a preseason All-American by Don Hansen's Football Gazette.
White led a defensive line that recorded three straight road shutout victories. White ended the year with 43 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss, and 1.5 sacks. White was named to the All-PSAC team for the second consecutive year in 2005.
Biernat lead a line backing crew that gave up just 110 yards per game on the ground. Biernat ended the season leading the team in total tackles with 85, and tackles for a loss with 6.5. Biernat also recorded two sacks for a loss of 15 yards, broke up three passes and forced two fumbles. He also recovered a fumble on a last minute West Chester drive that sealed a Husky victory and recorded a career high 17 tackles in the NCAA Division II playoffs against East Stroudsburg.

Bloomsburg finished the 2005 season with an 11-1 record and were champions of the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference's (PSAC) Eastern Division.
