Bloomsburg's Lydic Earns PSAC East Player of the Week Honors


BLOOMSBURG- Bloomsburg senior quarterback Jack Lydic (Selinsgrove/ Selinsgrove) was named PSAC East Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Huskies 42-28 victory over Millersville on Saturday.

Lydic completed 18 of 26 passes for 309 yards and threw four touchdowns to help the Huskies rally from an early 21-7 deficit. Over the last two games, Lydic has completed 40 of 53 passes for 567 yards and seven touchdowns. On the season, Lydic has thrown for 1,871 yards, 16 touchdowns and has completed 62% of his passes and has helped lead Bloomsburg to its first undefeated regular season since 1985 and the PSAC East title.

The Huskies, 11-0, were announced as the number two seed in the Northeast region of the NCAA playoffs. They will host their Northeast Region semi-final game on November 19th against the winner of Southern Connecticut State and East Stroudsburg. Start time for the game will be 12 noon.
