Bloomsburg Football Ranked in Two Polls
BLOOMSBURG—The 3-0 Bloomsburg University football team is ranked nationally in two polls this week.
The Huskies are 19th in the latest d2football.com poll and make their first appearance of the season in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) poll at number 22.
Bloomsburg dropped one place in the d2football.com rankings despite a dominating 49-21 win over Shippensburg last week. In the AFCA poll, the Huskies started the season unranked and last week were one of the teams receiving votes.
Starting the season 3-0 for the first time 2001, Bloomsburg will look to make it four straight on Saturday when it visits Lock Haven in a night game with kickoff slated for 7 p.m.
