Bloomsburg Football Moves Up in National Polls

BLOOMSBURG- The Bloomsburg University football team moved up one spot in both the D2football.com and American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Coaches poll this week. The Huskies moved from 11th to tenth in the d2football.com poll and from 13th to 12th in the AFCA coaches poll.

Bloomsburg improved their position in both polls after a 24-19 comeback win over a previously ranked California (PA) team on Saturday. After falling behind 13-3 in the third quarter, the Huskies stormed back in the fourth scoring three straight touchdowns to preserve a wild come-from-behind victory.

Bloomsburg will face another ranked opponent this Saturday when they visit d2football.com's 20th ranked Edinboro Fighting Scots. Kickoff is slated for 1:00 p.m.
