Bloomsburg's Brittingham Named PSAC East Player of the Week

BLOOMSBURG- Bloomsburg University tailback Jamar Brittingham (Levittown/Neshaminy) was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Player of the Week for his performance on Saturday.

In Bloomsburg's 35-14 win over Shippensburg, Brittingham rushed for a season-high 154 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Huskies to the win. Brittingham scored on runs of 1, 4 and 11 yards to give him 57 rushing touchdowns in his career, second best all-time in PSAC history. Brittingham also ripped runs of 33 and 48 yards in the game to set up two of his scores. Overall, he averaged 5.7 yards per carry in the game.

Bloomsburg, 4-1, will host West Chester on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the school's annual homecoming game.
