Bloomsburg Football to Air on WHLM Radio

BLOOMSBURG-- Once again in 2007, all Bloomsburg University football games will be aired live on WHLM-AM radio (AM 930) in Bloomsburg. In addition, WHLM will also serve as the provider of web streaming services for Huskies Athletics.

We are thrilled to once again have WHLM serve as the home of Bloomsburg football along with men's and women's basketball, said Tom McGuire, Bloomsburg Director of Sports Information, Athletic Marketing and Promotions. Plus, we are excited that WHLM will stream all of our events live on the web through www.whlm.com. Fans around the country and the world will now have one place to go to hear any Bloomsburg event that is carried on WHLM radio

Joe Reilly, owner of the Columbia Broadcasting Company, is also looking forward to the arrangement. Having the ability to stream direct from WHLM, The Flagship Station for Husky Football, accomplishes several goals, said Reilly. The quality of the broadcast will be improved. The new redesigned WHLM web site will offer local Bloomsburg information for those traveling into town for games, weather conditions, traffic information and well as other news in and around area. Listeners will also be able to have direct access to "This week in the PSAC radio show with Jim Doyle.

Joining Jim Doyle on the broadcasts will be Andy Ulicny and sideline reporter Larry White. The Huskies first game will be Saturday, Sept. 1 against CW Post with kickoff at noon.
