Bloomsburg Football Climbs in National Polls

BLOOMSBURG-The Bloomsburg University football team has climbed several spots in the national rankings of two organizations this week. The Huskies are now ranked 8th in both the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and the D2Football.com poll.

Bloomsburg, 5-0, makes the jump in the national rankings after defeating C.W Post 13-6 on Saturday.

Valdosta State remains at the top spot in the AFCA followed by Grand Valley St., North Alabama, Abilene Christian and West Texas A&M. Grand Valley State is number one in the D2Football.com poll followed by North Alabama, Valdosta State, Abilene Christian and West Texas A&M. Three other PSAC teams appear in the rankings, with California (Pa.) ranked 9th, Indiana (Pa.) ranked 14th, and Edinboro ranked 21st.

The unbeaten Huskies are winners of 10 consecutive games straight dating back to last year. Bloomsburg will travel to Millersville on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
