Dan Latorre Named to ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District II Football Team

BLOOMSBURG- Bloomsburg University quarterback Dan Latorre (Elysburg/Southern Columbia) has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District II football first team. He will advance to the national ballot for consideration for Academic All-America honors.

Latorre, who is in his first semester as a grad student, graduated in August with a 3.69 grade-point-average while triple majoring in Finance, Business Management and French.

This season, Latorre passed for 1,712 yards and 11 touchdowns while rushing for 152 yards and four touchdowns in earning his second first team All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) honor. He finished his career at Bloomsburg second in school history in passing yards (7,370) and passing touchdowns (60) and first in completion percentage (58.1) and yards per completion (15.0).

The Academic All-District teams are nominated and selected by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). District II includes all Division II and III institutions in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Washington, D.C. and West Virginia.
