Bloomsburg Football Moves Up In Two National Poll
BLOOMSBURG- The Bloomsburg University football team moved up to fourth place in both the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and D2Football.com top 25 polls, after last Saturday's 27-13 win over East Stroudsburg.
The Bloomsburg defense has dominated opponents this season, giving up just 10.4 points per game, which ranks first in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). Bloomsburg is also 15th in all of Division II in total yards allowed (272.3), 14th in rushing yards allowed (86.3) and tied for ninth in redzone defense (61.1 percent).
The Huskies (7-0, 4-0) host conference opponent Cheyney for their Homecoming game on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
