Bloomsburg Football Ranked Top Five Nationally

BLOOMSBURG-The Bloomsburg University football team remains ranked in the top five nationally in two major top 25 polls after last Saturday's 31-12 win over Kutztown.

The Huskies (4-0, 1-0) are ranked fourth in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Poll and fifth in the D2Football.com Media Poll. The Bloomsburg defense has dominated opponents this season, giving up just 9.0 points per game, which ranks first in the PSAC and is tied for fourth in all of Division II. BU is also sixth in total yards allowed (228.8), 13th in rushing yards allowed (73.2) and 36th in passing yards allowed (155.5).

Bloomsburg hosts conference opponent C.W. Post in its first home game since the season opening victory over Ashland.
