Bloomsburg Football Ranked Top Five Nationally
BLOOMSBURG-The Bloomsburg University football team remains ranked in the top five nationally in two major top 25 polls after last Saturday's 28-14 win over C.W. Post.
The Huskies (5-0, 2-0) are ranked fourth in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Poll and fifth in the D2Football.com Media Poll. The Bloomsburg defense has dominated opponents this season, giving up just 10.0 points per game, which ranks first in the PSAC and is sixth in all of Division II. BU is also 22nd in total yards allowed (274.6), 17th in rushing yards allowed (84.8) and tied for 11th in redzone defense (51.7%).
Bloomsburg hosts conference opponent Millersville in their second night game this season.
