Huskies Football Moves Up in National Polls
BLOOMSBURG- The Bloomsburg University football team has moved up to No. 5 in both the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and D2Football.com top 25 polls with the victory over nationally-ranked California (PA) last Saturday.
The Huskies (2-0) were ranked 6th in both the AFCA and D2Football.com top 25 polls after week one. California was ranked 17th and 18th, respectively. With the loss, the Vulcans have fallen out of both polls.
Bloomsburg will travel to Mercyhurst (1-1) on Saturday, September 12th to play the Lakers, who are coming off of a 45-14 win over Cheyney last Saturday.
