Krista Engle (Liverpool/Greenwood HS) scored thee goals to lead the Huskies to a 3-2 win over the University of Scranton Saturday. Led 1-0 at the half when Engle scored off an assist from Kristy Roadarmel. Engle scored two goals in a nine minute span to give the Huskies a 3-0 lead. Scranton scored twice in a two-minute span to make the game close but the Huskies hung on for the win. Engle leads the Huskies in scoring with five goals this season. The three-goal game is the first in Engle's career and just the second multi-goal game of her career. Bloomsburg has now won 57 of its last 58 games and 23 straight dating back to 1998. The Huskies host Scouthern Connecticut Sunday at 1 p.m. |
