BLOOMSBURG—The NCAA Division II field hockey champions from Bloomsburg University will be featured on national television later this month.

The Huskies and coach Jan Hutchinson will be profiled on “CBS Presents the Championships of the NCAA,” Saturday, Dec. 28th at 1 p.m. (WYOU-TV 22).

The show will focus on the national championships at Division II and III this past fall, including the Huskies victory over Bentley College for the Division II Field Hockey championship. The program will show the team as it spent an off day between the semi-finals and the finals as well as game-day preparations for the title game. Highlights of the championship game will also be shown.

Bloomsburg won the NCAA championship with a 5-0 win over Bentley to cap a perfect 21-0 year. The title was the 10th in school history for coach Jan Hutchinson.
