Field Hockey Players Named to NFHCA National Academic Squad

BLOOMSBURG— Nine members of the 2002 Bloomsburg University National Championship field hockey team have been named to the Division II National Academic Squad by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA). To be honored, each athlete must be nominated by their coach and must have achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 through the first semester of the 2002-2003 academic school year.

The following athletes were honored: senior Keri Beckhorn, juniors Marcie and Sheila Zilinski, sophomores Pam Cianni, Sharla Partlon, and Alison Poff, and freshmen Crystal Condran, Sarah Douglass, and Kristi Ney.

Beckhorn was a two-time selection to the NFHCA Division I All-Academic team while at University of Louisville.
