BLOOMSBURG—Bloomsburg University field hockey player Sheila Zilinski (Barto/Boyertown) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the period ending Oct. 19th.

Last week Zilinski scored four goals and added one assist to lead Bloomsburg to a perfect 3-0 record and help clinch a PSAC playoff berth. She scored all three goals in a 3-0 win against Philadelphia to start the week. She then assisted on a goal in 3-2 win at Millersville before finishing the week with a goal against fifth-ranked UMass-Lowell. Zilinski now leads the Huskies in goals scored with 17.

Bloomsburg, 16-2, 12-2 in the PSAC, will play its final regular season home game Wednesday, Oct. 22nd against Mansfield starting at 3 p.m.
