Bloomsburg Downs East Stroudsburg in Field Hockey

EAST STROUDSBURG —Bloomsburg University won its sixth straight game to start the season with a 2-1 win over East Stroudsburg on Saturday.

East Stroudsburg got off to the early lead scoring nine and half minutes into the game on a goal by Erin Due.

Bloomsburg tied the score 10 minutes later when Kelly Trevisan (Lancaster/Lancaster) scored unassisted. The Huskies finally grabbed the lead for good when Sharla Partlon (Langhorne/Neshaminy) notched a goal at the at the 44 minute mark to make it 2-1 in favor of Bloomsburg.

Bloomsburg, 6-0, will host Indiana (PA) on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
