Bloomsburg Field Hockey Holds Top Spot In NFHCA Rankings
BLOOMSBURG-The Bloomsburg University field hockey team is ranked first in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association poll for Tuesday October 28, 2008.
The Huskies remain at the number one spot for the second week in a row after recording a 3-2 win over Mansfield, and a 5-1 victory over C.W. Post last week.
Bloomsburg, 19-1, holds the number one spot while Indiana University of PA remains at the number two spot, with a 14-1 record. Stonehill College moves up in the poll at the number nine spot while C.W. Post falls to number 10.
The Huskies will host Shippensburg in the PSAC semifinals on Friday at 2:30 p.m. Indiana University of PA will play Kutztown in the first semifinal game Friday at noon. The winners will meet on Saturday for the PSAC title at 12:30 p.m.
