Bloomsburg Field Hockey Ranked Second in NFHCA
BLOOMSBURG-The Bloomsburg University field hockey team is ranked second in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association poll for Tuesday October 14, 2008.
The Huskies, 14-1, remain at the number two spot in the national rankings for the fourth week in a row, after posting an 7-0 win over East Stroudsburg on Wednesday, a 8-0 win over Slippery Rock on Saturday, and a 11-1 win over Catawba College on Sunday.
Indiana University of PA maintains the number one spot with a 13-0 record and received 11 first place votes in the poll this week. Shippensburg remains at the number three spot in the poll with an 11-3 record. Bentley College moves up in the poll to the number six spot.
The Huskies play at Millersville tonight at 4:00 p.m. and will host Kutztown on Saturday at 12:00 p.m.
