Bloomsburg Field Hockey Retakes Top Spot In Rankings
BLOOMSBURG--The Bloomsburg University field hockey team is ranked first in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association poll for Tuesday October 21, 2008. The Huskies, 17-1, took the number one spot after four straight weeks of being second to Indiana University of PA.
With Bloomsburg taking the number one spot this week, Indiana University of PA moves down to number two, with a 13-1 record, while Shippensburg holds at number three. C.W. Post moved up to take the number nine spot in the rankings, while Stonehill falls to number 10.
The Huskies play at Mansfield on Wednesday at 4:00 pm and will wrap up their regular season at C.W. Post on Sunday at 2:00 pm.
