PANAMA CITY, FL—The Bloomsburg lacrosse team opened its 2002 season with a win over Regis University of Colorado Monday, 19-6.

The Huskies got four goals and three assists from Katie MacLean, while Katie O'Neill added three goals and two assists. Sheila Zilinski scored four times and had one assist for Bloomsburg with Megan Pry scoring three goals. Georgia Carinci, last year's PSAC Rookie of the Year, added two goals and two assists with Rachel Keller and Summer Staniszewski getting one goal each. Yshonda Wisher made 10 saves in goal for the Huskies.

Bloomsburg will play Wednesday against Longwood College at 10 a.m.
