ERIE—The Bloomsburg University lacrosse team got three goals each from Georgia Carinci, Katie O'Neill and Colleen Dunn as it defeated Mercyhurst College, 14-10, in women's lacrosse action Saturday afternoon.

The Huskies trailed 2-1 in the early going, but scored the next five goals as it opened up a 7-4 halftime lead. Mercyhurst was able to close within 9-8 with about 23 minutes, but the Huskies outscored the Lady Lakers 5-2 down the stretch to seal the win.

In addition to three goals by Carinci, she also added four assists in the ball game for a total of seven points on the afternoon.

The Huskies, 6-1, visit Gannon on Sunday starting at 11 a.m.
