NEXT GAME- Saturday April 26 at 1:00 at West Chester
Bloomsburg ran its winning streak to 11 with a 19-15 win over Millersville Thursday
afternoon. The Huskies and Marauders battled hard in the first half with neither team
getting more than a two-goal through the first 27 minutes of action. With the score tied
9-9, the Huskies scored the final three goals of the first half to take a 12-9 lead at the
break. In the second half, Bloomsburg saw Millersville get back to within a goal
with 17:44 to play (14-13), however, the Huskies outscored Millersville 5-2 the rest of the
way for the win. Julie Minogue scored four time and had one assist, while
Katie O'Neill added three goals and Georgia Carinci two goals and three assists.
The Huskies clinched a berth in the PSAC playoffs with the win and can clinch
the regular season title and the right to host the championship game with
a win over West Chester this coming Saturday.
