Bloomsburg Opens 2005 Lacrosse Season

GAFFNEY, SC—The Bloomsburg University lacrosse team opened its 2005 season on Sunday losing to Gannon, 17-4.

Against Gannon, the Huskies and the Golden Knights were locked in a 3-3 game before Gannon scored the final four goals of the half to lead 7-3 at the break. In the second half it was all Gannon as it outscored the Huskies 10-1 to get the win.

Senior Sheila Zilinski led the Huskies with two goals.

Bloomsburg will be back in action on Tuesday at Limestone College.
