Bloomsburg Downs IUP in Lacrosse

INDIANA, PA —The Bloomsburg University lacrosse won its second game of the season with a 21-6 win over Indiana (PA) University on Wednesday.

The Huskies opened a 13-2 lead at halftime behind four goals from Sheila Zilinski (Barto/Boyertown) and three from Danielle Yeager (Delran, NJ/Delran). In the second half, the Huskies scored seven times led by two from Zilinski. Defensively, goalie Bridget Maenner (Philadelphia/Catholic) made three total saves in the game.

Zilinski finished with six goals for the Huskies, while Yeager added five.

Bloomsburg, 2-2, 1-0 in the PSAC, will host West Chester on Saturday at 1 p.m. The game will be played at Redman Stadium.
