Bloomsburg Falls to Limestone College in Lacrosse

GAFFNEY, SC—The Bloomsburg University lacrosse team lost to Limestone College on Tuesday, 9-8, in sudden death overtime.

The Huskies led 5-3 at halftime, but saw the home team rally and tie the game, then win it in sudden death overtime.

Danielle Yeager (Delran, NJ/Delran) led the Huskies with three goals, while Cali Toms (Pottstown/Pottsgrove) added two. In addition, Angela Picciotti (Chalfont/Chalfont) and Sheila Zilinski (Barto/Boyertown) each scored once with Karla Honeywell (Lansdale/North Penn) getting one assist.

The Huskies fall to 0-2 with the loss and will face Queens (NC) on Thursday.
