Bloomsburg Downs Queens University for First Win of the Season

CHARLOTTE, NC—The Bloomsburg University lacrosse team rallied to beat Queens University of North Carolina, 7-6, on Thursday.

The Huskies trailed 5-3 at halftime and were down 6-4 with 10 minutes to play. After tying the game, the Huskies avoided overtime when Danielle Yeager (Delran, NJ/Delran) scored the gamewinner with just 35 seconds to play. Yeager finished with two goals, while Sheila Zilinski (Barto/Boyertown) led the way with three. Meg Taylor (West Chester/West Chester) also scored twice for the Huskies.

Bloomsburg, 1-2, will play at IUP on March 16th at 4 p.m.
