Lacrosse Team Falls to East Stroudsburg

EAST STROUDSBURG-- The Bloomsburg University lacrosse team lost to East Stroudsburg on Wednesday by a score of 8-5.
The Huskies fell behind 2-0 at halftime and trailed 3-0 in the second before Kelsey Quigley (Lansdale/Methacton) scored two consecutive goals in just over a minute for Bloomsburg. The Warriors responded with the next four goals to take a 7-2 lead with 10:50 to play in the game. Bloomsburg scored three of the final four goals of the game, two by Sam Alexander (Willow Grove/Upper Moreland), but it wasn't enough to keep the Huskies from their second loss of the season.
Alexander finished with two goals and one assist, while Quigley added two goals for the Huskies, now 0-2, 0-1 in the PSAC.
Bloomsburg will host Slippery Rock on Friday at 4 p.m.
