Huskies Season Comes to End With Playoff Loss

LOCK HAVEN-- The Bloomsburg University lacrosse team saw its season come to an end with a 25-9 loss to Lock Haven in the semi-finals of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) playoffs on Tuesday.
Lock Haven jumped out to 9-0 lead in the game before the Huskies could get on the board with 1:38 to play in the half on a goal by Sam Alexander (Willow Grove/Upper Moreland).
The Huskies came alive at the start of the second half and scored six of the first eight goals to close to within 13-7 after Alexander's back-to-back goals in a 25-second span with 18:51 to go in the game. Cali Toms (Pottstown/Pottsgrove) started the rally for the Huskies by scoring two goals 10-seconds apart with just under 28 minutes to play.
Lock Haven, though, finished strong in the game scoring 12 of the final 14 goals to post a 25-9 win.
Bloomsburg ends its season with a 9-9 record.
