BU Falls to Philadelphia in Lacrosse

PHILADELPHIA-- The Bloomsburg University lacrosse team lost to Philadelphia University on Sunday by a score of 13-9.

The Huskies trailed just 3-2 in the game when the Rams scored the final five goals of the half to lead 8-2 at the break. In the second half, the Huskies fell behind 13-6 before scoring the final three goals of the period to close within four at 13-9. But that would be as close at they would get in the game.

Angie Picciotti (Philadelphia/Little Flower) scored thee goals to lead Bloomsburg, while Cara McGroarty (Pottstown/Pottsgrove), and Cali Toms (Pottstown/Pottsgrove) each added two goals.

Bloomsburg, 4-3, will play at West Chester on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
