Toms Named PSAC Player of the Week

BLOOMSBURG-- Bloomsburg University lacrosse standout Cali Toms (Pottstown/Pottsgrove) was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Lacrosse Player of the Week for the period ending March 30.

Toms helped guide the Huskies to a 3-1 week, posting a perfect record against PSAC teams. In a 12-11 win over Millersville, Toms contributed a goal and an assist while adding a groundball and two caused turnovers. The senior then added four goals at Slippery Rock in a 19-2 victory before netting three in a 17-3 win against IUP. In a non-conference loss to Philadelphia, Toms recorded two goals, five groundballs and a caused turnover. For the season, Toms leads the Huskies in goals with 15 and is tied for the team lead in points with 17.

Bloomsburg, 4-3, will play at West Chester on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
